January 24–February 23, 2020 @PS122 Gallery Art Workers Lab
As part of his Document of Resistance project, Antonio Serna, artist and co-organizer of Museum Workers Happy Hour/Manifesto, will present a film and archival items related to revolutionary black workers movement of the late 60s. Afterwards we will discuss the relationship between civil rights and workers rights, drawing parallels between the factory and the museum—connecting the point of production strategies then and now in order to inform this evening’s contribution to the Museum Workers Manifesto.
